Smart TV IP addresses discovered on your local network (for WiFi control)

2. Permissions

The App requests the following device permissions, each used solely for core functionality:

Infrared Transmitter (IR Blaster): Used to send remote control signals to your TV via the phone's built-in IR blaster. No data is collected.
Internet Access: Required for loading advertisements (Google AdMob) and for WiFi-based TV control over your local network.
WiFi / Network State: Used to discover Samsung Smart TVs on your local WiFi network and establish connections for remote control functionality.
Nearby WiFi Devices: Used to scan for and connect to Smart TVs on the local network.
Advertising ID: Used by Google AdMob to serve relevant advertisements.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob may collect certain information as described in Google's privacy policy. This may include:

Device identifiers (Advertising ID)

General device information (device model, OS version)

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The App is a utility tool for controlling TVs and contains no content targeted at children.

7. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all app data at any time by:

Clearing the app's data from your device's Settings > Apps > Samsung Remote Control > Clear Data
Uninstalling the App, which removes all associated data
