Privacy Policy

Katzio is an offline scientific & graphing calculator. It has no accounts and no sign‑in, and your calculations never leave your device. The only data collected is your device's advertising identifier, gathered by Google AdMob to show the banner ad in the app. That's it.
Who this policy covers
This policy explains how the Katzio mobile app (the "App") handles information. It applies to the App only, not to any other product. By using Katzio you agree to the practices described here.
Information the App handles
Stays on your device — never collected by us
Everything you do in the calculator — the expressions you type, results, calculation history, saved memory values, graphs, and your settings — is processed on your device and stored only in the App's local storage. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see it.
Collected automatically to show ads
Katzio displays a banner ad through Google AdMob (Google's mobile advertising service). To serve and measure that ad, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects a limited set of data:

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location history, contacts, photos, or files. Katzio requests only the Internet permission, which is used solely to load ads.
Advertising & third parties
Ads are provided by Google AdMob. Google may use the data above to show personalized or non‑personalized ads in line with its own policies. Please review:

Your choices
- Reset or delete your Advertising ID. On Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads (wording varies by device), where you can reset the ID or opt out of ad personalization.
- Stop all collection. Uninstalling Katzio removes the App and its local data, and ends any data collection by the ads SDK.
Data retention
We keep no personal data on our own servers, because we operate none. Local App data lives on your device until you clear it or uninstall. Data handled by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's policies, linked above.
Children's privacy
Katzio is a general‑audience calculator and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us and we will address it.
Security
Because Katzio keeps your calculations on your device and runs no backend, there is no central store of your data to breach. Data exchanged with the ads service is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves or as regulations change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
