What are Business Days?
A business day (or working day) is any day in which normal business operations are conducted. In most Western countries, this includes Monday through Friday and excludes weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and public holidays.
How to Calculate Business Days
To calculate the number of working days between two dates manually:
- Count the total number of days between the start and end date.
- Subtract the number of weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
- Subtract any specific public holidays (like Christmas, New Year's Day, etc.) that fall on weekdays.
