Gay-Lussac's Law Formula

Gay-Lussac's Law states that the pressure of a given mass of gas varies directly with the absolute temperature of the gas, when the volume is kept constant.

$$ \frac{P_1}{T_1} = \frac{P_2}{T_2} $$

  • P1, P2: Initial and Final Pressure
  • T1, T2: Initial and Final Absolute Temperature (Kelvin)

Note: This calculator accepts Celsius input but performs calculations using Kelvin (K = °C + 273.15).
